AI Governance and Impact Assessment
New laws require employers that use AI in hiring and employment decisions to assess the risks, such as Colorado's law on high-risk AI systems and the EU AI Act for employers hiring in Europe. These laws and their dates keep changing; we confirm which apply to you, and their current requirements, before work starts.
Who it is for
- Employers using AI to screen, rank, promote or evaluate people
- Companies hiring in states or countries with AI laws
- Legal and HR teams building an AI governance program
What you get
- An inventory of how the system is used and who it affects
- A risk assessment covering discrimination, transparency, data and human oversight
- Adverse impact analysis on your own data
- A written impact assessment and a governance checklist for the laws in scope
This is an assessment and recommendations, not legal advice; your lawyer confirms your obligations.
The work is led personally by Anthony Hammock, an I-O psychology consultant. About the consultant
