Connect your own domain

Add your domain under Domain and billing in the site's dashboard and copy the DNS records it shows to your registrar. Needs the Site plan ($15 a month).

You buy the domain name itself separately, from any registrar such as Namecheap, GoDaddy or Cloudflare.

1. Open the Domain and billing tab in the site's dashboard and subscribe to the Site plan under Billing.
2. Under Custom domains, add your domain.
3. Copy the DNS records shown into your registrar's DNS settings. The dashboard has short steps for common registrars under How to add these records at your registrar.
4. Come back and select Recheck. DNS changes can take from a few minutes to a few hours.
5. Once it's verified, make the domain primary so your site shows there.

If it still isn't verified after a few hours, check that the records match exactly, with no extra dots or spaces, and that no older record for the same name is left.
