Find your HR system's API key
Where the key or token Organization Viewer needs comes from in BambooHR, Deel, HiBob, Personio and Factorial.
Each HR system creates the credential in its own settings, and usually only an admin can. Copy it as soon as it appears: most systems show a new key only once. Menus move around, so if a step doesn't match what you see, search your HR system's help center for "API".
BambooHR
- Sign in to BambooHR as an admin.
- Open your account menu and create an API key there, named so you will recognize it later (for example, Organization Viewer).
- Copy the key straight away, then paste it here with your subdomain.
Deel
- Sign in to Deel as an organization admin.
- Open the Developer Center and create an organization API token with read access to people.
- Copy the token before leaving the page, then paste it here.
HiBob
- Sign in to Bob as an admin.
- Create an API service user in Bob's integration settings and note its ID and token.
- Add the service user to a permission group that can view People data, then paste both values here.
Personio
- Sign in to Personio as an admin.
- Open the API credentials settings and create a credential with read access to people.
- Copy the client ID and secret, then paste them here.
Factorial
- Sign in to Factorial as an admin.
- Create an API key in Factorial's settings.
- Copy the key, then paste it here.
Organization Viewer only reads people data and stores the credential encrypted. To stop a sync, disconnect it on the Integrations page and delete the key in your HR system.
